Inclement Weather Alert System
Southwest Florida experiences subtropical weather with periodic thunderstorms, mostly from June to September during the late spring and summer. To provide beachgoers with notice of approaching thunderstorms, our resort is equipped with a live weather station using advanced lightning prediction and detection technology.
The safety of our guests and associates is a top priority. Anytime the system detects inclement weather, our pools and beach will temporarily close, and we ask our guests to return indoors for safety. Once the "all-clear" is given and safe conditions are determined, our pools and beach will reopen.
What to Expect:
When the live weather station detects inclement weather, the system will initiate a horn cluster and strobe light alert.
- 'Red-Alert,' Return Indoors: (1) 15-Second Horn Alert and Strobe Light
- 'All-Clear,' Safe Conditions: (3) 5-Second Horn Alerts and No Strobe Light
